Mr. Mirza Zafar Baig - Chairman

Mr. Mirza Zafar Baig has over 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Mr. Zafar joined Bank Alfalah Limited in April 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. He had been previously associated with Faysal Bank as Head of Strategic Development and RBS (Pakistan) (formerly ABN AMRO (Pakistan)) and since 1996, holding the position of CFO. Mr. Zafar has diversified experience in activities across all Finance functions, including Asset & Liability Management, Taxation and Management Information, along with extensive exposure in business planning, Merger & Acquisition and integration activities. Prior to joining ABN AMRO in 1996, he was associated with HSBC (Pakistan). Mr. Zafar Mirza Baig has done C.A. Intermediate from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Mr. Haroon Khalid - Director & Chairman Auditing Committee

Mr. Haroon Khalid is a Master in Business Administration from LUMS, with 18 years of banking experience. Since June 2007, he is working as General Manager, Risk Management Division at Bank Alfalah Limited. In 1994, Mr. Khalid started his banking career with MCB Pakistan and worked in various positions of Credits, Corporate and Risk Management. In 2005, he joined Bank Alfalah and worked as Assistant Executive-In-Charge and Deputy General Manager at Credits. He is the Author of the Book called “Threadbare”.

Mr. Aasim Wajid Jawad - Director & Member of Auditing Committee

Aasim Jawad is currently the Head of Strategy at Bank Alfalah Limited. Aasim Jawad has over 18 years of experience both locally and internationally, and is a Chartered Accountant from England & Wales. He completed his Bachelors in Economics (Honours) from The London School of Economics & Political Science. Prior to joining Bank Alfalah Limited, Mr. Jawad was working with UBL as Financial Controller & Head of Investor Relations within the Finance Division. As Head of Investor Relations at UBL, he was responsible for liaising with International and local investors, Asset Managers and Analysts. Prior to UBL, Mr. Jawad worked mostly in London for nearly a decade in organizations like Ernst & Young LLP and Deloitte LLP where he worked in various diverse roles within Audit & Assurance and Corporate Finance & Advisory.

Mr. Imran Zafar - Director & Member of Auditing Committee

Imran Zaffar is the Head of Merchant Banking Group at Bank Alfalah Ltd. Imran is a seasoned professional having over 15 years of experience in the field of investment banking, capital markets, strategy, & principal investing in Pakistan and the UK. Prior to joining Bank Alfalah, he was associated with Dhabi Group, MCB Bank, Elixir Securities and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Imran holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of London.

Mr. Atif M. Khan - Director

Mr. Atif Mohammed Khan holds a Master in Business Administration with over 20 years of Capital Markets experience in reputable institutions. Prior to Alfalah Securities, Atif was the Managing Director & C.E.O of Foundation Securities (Pvt.) Limited (“FSL”) for 10 years till July 2014. Before FSL, Atif was Director and Head of Sales at KASB Securities Limited from December 2000 to December 2004 where he helped launch Pakistan’s first and largest online trading platform “KASB Direct”; at KASB he was also Merrill Lynch’s point person for all their equities trading in Pakistan. Earlier, Atif was Head of Sales at First Capital ABN AMRO Securities from Oct 1997 to Nov 2000 and had started his career with Finex Securities Limited in Sept 1994 where he spent 3 years as Head of Sales.
